Everyone else is jumping on this train, so here I go.  Man, I hope I don’t regret this.  I am going to attempt to stay out of the right/wrong, should they/shouldn’t  they argument and go straight to something that kind of annoyed me yesterday…  the media totally sensationalized the stock market.

Listen guys, I am not going to predict whether or not this campaign will effect Nike sales long term.  I am not going to predict whether or not it will effect Nike stock long term.  I will tell you this.  Nike got FREE advertising ALL DAY yesterday whether it was on Facebook or on every News outlet out there.  Every time someone burned their Nike stuff and published it on Social Media, they did the opposite of what they meant to.  FREE PRESS Y’ALL.

I don’t follow sports.  I am currently looking up on google how to spell “Kaepernick” (which is why I have written 156 words without saying the name), but even I sat up and did some digging on this topic, and even I saw an advertisement that I would have NEVER EVER SEEN if it was any other sports person.

Here is the thing….  Nike Stock went down 3.16%  their biggest competitor is Adidas and Adidas stock dropped 2.41%,  so did Nike have a bad day or did Sneakers have a bad day?  It is the stock market, so who knows?  All we know is that the Headline “Kaepernick Tanks Nike Stock” sells a lot of papers.   Side note…  Nike Stock is up as of 10:45 A.M. today.
